Manual sampling kit with swab and Amies medium 1ml

Swabs with a pink screw-cap tube containing 1ml of AMIES liquid transport medium, intended for the collection and preservation of aerobic bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, and other fastidious bacteria such as Streptococcus pyogenes, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Bacteroides fragilis, Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, etc., for 48 hours (24 hours for Neisseria gonorrhoeae) at room temperature or refrigerated. They can also be used for the collection and preservation of mycobacteria and fungi. The Amies medium is a preservation medium composed of inorganic phosphate, calcium and magnesium salts, as well as sodium chloride, with a reduced environment due to the presence of sodium thioglycolate.
