The OPTILINE Heimlich valve consists of:

Universal multi-stage connectors are present at both ends of the cushion for connection to a thoracic drainage system.
Provided sterile, this valve is designed to prevent air reflux into the pleural cavity while allowing the drainage of gases and secretions out of the pleural space
