Faucher Tube

 The Faucher tube is a large-diameter transparent PVC gastric probe that is inserted into the stomach to perform emptying and washing of the stomach after ingestion of a non-caustic, non-foaming, non-petroleum hydrocarbon toxic substance. It is used, for example, in the management of acute drug poisoning. It is made of transparent PVC with an open end and 4 lateral holes, 150 cm long. Markings are made every 5 cm from 15 to 75 cm.
