Universal filter tips low retention
Low retention pipette tips are specially designed for applications requiring high precision and reproducibility, particularly for pipetting viscous liquids in complex reactions such as PCR, RT PCR, and DNA sequencing. Pipetting viscous liquids also creates pipetting problems due to the inability to expel the liquid because of surface adhesion between the liquid and the inside of the pipette tip. This fluid retention can be very problematic because the residual liquid generally remains in the pipette tip after the operation.
