This test is a serological Rapid Diagnostic Orientation Test (TROD) for IgG and IgM antibodies to COVID-19. It allows in 15 minutes, from a drop of capillary blood obtained at the fingertip, to know if a person who has been in contact with the new SARS-CoV-2 virus has developed an immune reaction, a priori protective, as this is usually the case in Coronavirus infections. Validated by the ANSM, this test has a sensitivity of 96.4% and a specificity of 99.5%. The Hightop serological test detects IgG/IgM antibodies whether they have been induced by protein S or N.
